Torrespaccata District Center

Cittadella of Audiovisual Culture and International Creativity

The Torrespaccata District Center represents an emblematic urban project for Rome, transforming the southeast quadrant into a new urban centrality: a new cultural, residential and recreational hub. Architecture, archaeology and landscape dialogue with cultural production, creating a contemporary, inclusive and sustainable system.

In connection with Cinecittà, the project is configured as a polycentric urban organism, where public and private spaces, solids and voids, are harmoniously integrated. Centrality redefines the city through proximity, accessibility and quality of life, generating a recognizable and dynamic urban model.

Architecture and landscape in dialogue

Accessibility and inclusion

Buildings and infrastructure are articulated around a large linear park enriched by a system of archaeological paths and parterres, creating continuity between city and nature. The design follows a principle of harmony and lightness, where greenery becomes a structuring element and the urban landscape opens up to collective and interactive experiences.

Each space is designed to be easily usable and inclusive. Squares, pedestrian and bicycle paths, connections to public transportation, and areas dedicated to culture create an urban ecosystem capable of accommodating people of all ages and abilities.

Innovation, sustainability and resilience

Identity and urban landmark

Design strategies aim to maximize energy efficiency, emissions reduction and sustainable resource management. Architecture integrates technological solutions and durable materials, promoting a resilient urban development model that can adapt to the challenges of the future.

The Torrespaccata District Center builds a strong and recognizable image for the city. The buildings, squares and open spaces generate a new landmark, a symbol of innovation, culture and social cohesion, strengthening the sense of belonging and the perception of urban quality.
